Jake loves when I get products to review that are either primarily for him, or he can use too. He loves anything with his name on it. He also loves writing notes to people. So when I found out that I was approved to review Amy Adele’s customized note cards through Tomoson, I thought “awesome, I can knock three birds unconscious with one cute little stone!” Because, you know, I don’t want to actually kill the birds. That’s just mean. But we’re not talking about birds here, we’re talking about the stone. And what a cute stone it is!
Amy Adele makes absolutely adorable flat-card stationary for just about anything you can think of. Invitations, thank you cards, address cards- you name it, you can make it. In fact, every single design on the site is capable of being whatever you want it to be, because it is fully customizable. For Jake, I went with the “Up In Space” design, because he’s been pretty obsessed with outer-space lately. Particularly black holes. Why, I don’t know. He claims his teacher taught them about it, but when I asked why they were learning physics in Kindergarten (not that I had an issue with it, I just thought it was funny, since that wasn’t offered to me until I was in high school, and even then it was beyond my abilities) she said she didn’t know what I was talking about. So the mystery of where he learned about black holes is as mysterious as the holes themselves. But anyway, I chose this design because it was perfect for him. It was already blank, so all I had to do was add his name. Easy as sleeping (pie is NOT easy). However, while I was messing around trying to choose my favorite, I came across a Superhero card that already had a “Thank You” note on it. I found that it doesn’t matter what it already says, you’ll be asked to input your own text, so you can completely eliminate that and just add a name or something else. See, fully customizable.
The note cards arrived super fast, and Jake was thrilled to find that the package in the mailbox was in fact something for him. As usual, I had to snag it fast and snap some pictures before he wandered off with his new treasure. I wanted to show you the cute little mesh bag that they came in though. See it there to the right, all tied up in a pretty little bow? They come with little envelopes too. Jake is having a great time writing notes, including one to send along with his dad’s birthday card. I also got a lovely “I Love You” note to keep forever next to my desk, to remind me of the day he got his note cards (he likes to make sure I never forget anything, big or small).
The cards are made on recycled paper, and my order came with a personal thank you note. I love this because it tells me that the business cares enough to take a few extra seconds to say “thanks.” Overall, I’m impressed with these adorable stationary cards, and I would definitely recommend Amy Adele to anyone who needs invitations, announcements, or just a fun way to allow their children to express themselves.
