I recently did a review of Mixbook’s Softcover photo book. I made a really cute montage scrapbook of all out pets for Jacob, and he loved it. I had a great time creating the book, especially with their super easy system that basically does all the hard work for you. It literally took me about half an hour to create my end product, and the longest part of the task was deciding which pictures to use.
Description of Mixbook
Mixbook is a free online service that allows you to create and share personalized photo books. The site offers the world’s first collaborative scrapbook editor for creating photo books, meaning you can make it a group project and allow others to contribute pictures to the final product. . Mixbook‘s intuitive online software allows users to quickly and easily create professional-looking photo books and then fully personalize them with hundreds of free creative elements. Users can then share their creations on the web or as high-quality printed photo books.
The photo book possibilities are endless. Create a wedding album, baby’s first year, a kindergarten scrapbook, pretty much anything you can think of. You can even use it to create learning resources, such as pictures of famous Americans. I wish I had thought to do something like that. I’d probably make a “bug book,” since Jake is so into bugs these days. Obviously, with these types of books, you’ll need to find public domain or royalty-free images, but think of the possibilities!
