I’m really trying to “green” up my cleaning routine as much as possible these days because I worry about the effect of chemicals on Jake and my pets, as well as the overall effects on the environment. I asked for the opportunity to try the natural household cleaning products offered by Natural House mostly because, aside from the fact that they’re natural, I really liked the names of the products- Sinky, Flushy, and Trashy. With names like those, I really had to know what they were all about.
I was sent a 30-Day supply of each of the products. When they arrived, I admit I was a little dubious because the package seemed awfully small for a 30-day supply of anything, but then I realized that I only need to use one tiny pouch once a week and it would continue working throughout the week. So much easier than scrubbing and toting around a dozen big cans and sprayers with me every other day. Actually, if we’re being totally honest here, I don’t really do that. I think about doing it though! I’m not really big on cleaning. I do what I need to do to make sure the house isn’t gross, but I’ll never pass a white glove inspection. So products that only require effort on my part once a week really make me happy.
The little pouches are so easy to use. For Flushy, I just have to toss it in the toilet, stare at it for about 15 seconds until it starts foaming (the power is in the foam), swish it around with the toilet brush, and flush. Sinky works pretty much the same way, except you have to run water over it. Trashy requires a little more effort because you need to wipe out the inside of the trash can, but it’s still really easy. The probiotics actually create their own itty-bitty ecosystem within your plumbing to help digest fats, grease, toilet paper, and more. They’re safe for septic systems, and they have a lovely fruity scent.
