It’s been a good month in our house for my little Spongebob fanatic! Between the release of the Spongebob Surf & Skate game, the complete 6th season DVD, and now SpongeBob’s Frozen Face-Off DVD, Jake has been totally immersed in Bikini Bottom for weeks! This DVD may just be our favorite yet, because not only does it have the awesome titular episode in which all the Bikini Bottom residents race to the South Pole, it also has six other episodes plus two episodes of Fanboy & Chum Chum and two episodes of Tuff Puppy.

In the SpongeBob’s Frozen Face-Off episode, the race is on to claim a massive prize one million clams. The first one to the South Pole takes all! Can you just imagine Mr. Krabs swooning in his Krabby Patty office at that amount of money? Of course, this is SpongeBob we’re talking about, so you know that race isn’t going to be a smooth one.

My other favorite episode on the DVD is Sentimental Sponge, in which SpongeBob has a really hard time parting with anything because of the memory attached to his things. As a somewhat reformed packrat, I can totally feel SpongeBob’s pain. The Other Patty is another good one, as Mr. Krabs and Plankton finally team up to take down a new nemesis. That will be one of the very few times we’ll ever see those two working together! Although, to be honest, I kind of feel bad for Plankton. Sure, he’s a conniving guy, always trying to steal the secret Krabby Patty formula, but my goodness, he’s smaller than my pinky and his only friend is his computerized wife!

SpongeBob’s Frozen Face-Off will be releasing on DVD on January 3rd, 2012, and is a definite must for any Bikini Bottom fan.
