Flowers are one of the most popular Mother’s Day gifts on the planet for many reasons. First, even the best offspring among us occasionally wait until the last minute to get a gift and have to do that last-minute scramble to make it look like we don’t suck at being children. Second, they’re pretty and just about everyone likes at least one variety (I prefer daisies myself!). Third it’s easy to send flowers from just about anywhere to just about anywhere even up to the very last minute.

Speaking of sending flowers, I received a really pretty Pink Celebration bouquet last week for review from the SendFlowers.com. It featured a myriad of pink flowers, including roses, carnations, and other pretty flowers (I’m not a horticulturist, I have no idea what they are, just that they’re pretty). They look beautiful on my mantle. Just ignore the random stuff in the picture, I had to move the picture of my brother and his lovely fiance because I wasn’t sure if they would want to be on the blog, and I didn’t pay attention to the stuff that was behind it.

The Send Flowers Pink Celebration Bouquet: Perfect for Mother's Day

I really love the pretty dark pink vase that the flowers came in. They were delivered by a local floral shop, and I think they did a beautiful job putting the arrangement together. I like that sites like Send Flowers use local florists, it allows me to support businesses in my area with the convenience of shopping online.

The closed flower opened up a few days later. The arrangement has been sitting on my mantle for over a week now, and it still looks pretty great. The greenery is wilting a bit, and the flowers aren’t quite as firm as they were on that first day, but considering the fact that I basically have a black thumb of death when it comes to plants and flowers, they’re still looking pretty lovely. Here they are a week later. Look how pretty that Lily-looking flower is  (again, no clue what kind of flower it actually is)!

Send Flowers has tons of different arrangements to fit just about any budget and taste in flowers. For those who don’t like flowers, or suffer from allergies, they also have really cool balloon bouquets. It’s easy to search the site for just the right arrangement; just search by occasion, price, or type of flower.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
