Like most little boys, Jacob is a Hot Wheels fanatic. Although I personally have a hard time understanding why he needs over 100 different cars, apparently the fact that they ARE all different answers my question. I admit, I get a little grumpy when I step on one in the middle of the night, but overall, Hot Wheels are actually pretty fun to play with! I’ve gotten quite masterful at putting tracks together now, even when it comes to joining up different stunts.We recently had a Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare gathering to check out the newest stunt track from the iconic toy car company.
The Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare allows your child to race two cars side-by-side to see which one is the fastest. Only one car gets to make it into the platform safely, the slower car ends up flying over the edge. Also, be sure not to jump the starting gun, or you’ll end up flying off the track! The set comes with one car designed for speed, and you can get others anywhere that Hot Wheels are sold. Check out Jacob’s car making it into the platform. It took me like 17 tries to get the timing right on the picture!
The launchers are adjustable, and you may need to experiment to find just the right speed for your car. Some cars require a bit more of a push than others. On the other hand, too much push can send certain cars flying right off the track.
Jacob and his friends had a great time playing with the Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare set, and each kid got to take a car home with them. As for me, it was easy to put together and kept my son entertained, so that makes me happy!
Hot Wheels Comes to Life!
Hot Wheels is bringing the Double Dare Snare track set to life at this year’s X Games Los Angeles on June 30th. The anticipated Double Loop Dare is a six-story tall, dual vertical loop that will pair two Team Hot Wheels drivers together, placing them into a never-before-seen upside down challenge. The stunt is set to be the biggest thrill of the summer! You can check it out live on ABC beginning at 11:20 PDT on Saturday, June 30th. I’ll definitely be DVR’ing it for Jacob!
