Guess what? It’s time for another great book-related giveaway hop! I know how much you all love those. The Lazy Days of Summer Giveaway Hop hosted by I’m A Reader, Not a Writer and Colorimetry, and features over 200 blogs each giving away a book-related prize. Guess what else today is? My birthday! I’m 22+5+100-110+20. If you’re tenacious enough to open a calculator and do the math, or one of the genius-types who can do it in your head, you deserve to know how old I am. Otherwise, I’m not telling!
Age is relative anyway, and time is a man-made concept, so for all I know, I’m really only 22.Yes, I know I’m rambling way more than I usually do for these giveaway posts, but hey, it’s my birthday, I get to ramble all day and everyone has to say “why, that’s an astounding bit of insight, you’re an absolute genius. And may I add, you are also a pure ray of sunshine to be around?” Hmmm, I wonder if agreeing with all that should be an extra entry on the Rafflecopter form? Nah, I need those spaces for boosting the really important things in life, lilke my Facebook and Pinterest following.

That got your attention, didn’t it? If you skipped down to this part, you missed some witty banter than I’ll probably never repeat again. I’m only witty and charming once a year, and it usually falls on my birthday, like today. Did I mention it’s my birthday? I’m totally fishing for “Happy Birthday” comments here, can you tell? Okay, I’ll shush and tell you the prize.
Winner will receive his or her choice of book from Amazon up to an $11 value. There, are you happy? Why $11? Well, those who have entered my book hop giveaways before already know the answer to that. Half the books on my wish list are $10.99, so I assume that at least a good portion of the books on your wishlist are around the same price. It seems to be a popular price on Amazon. If your “must have” book is $11.25, I’ll still get it for you. Just don’t push it much further than that. Okay, $11.50. For the sake of simplicity, though, I’m just saying “up to $11. because “up to $11-ish” doesn’t sound as good in a tweet.
