new shows fall 2012

Fall is my favorite season, not only because of the cooler temperatures and the beautiful colors on the trees, but also because it’s the return of my favorite shows and the premiere of new fall television shows. This year, there are quite a few that I’m looking forward to watching. I know by the end of the season, half of them will be gone, because it seems networks don’t like to give new shows much of a chance these days. Still, I’ll start watching them and hope for the best!

New Fall 2012 TV Shows I’m Planning to Watch

666 Park Avenue– ABC- Premieres Sept. 30 at 10/9C

Arrow– CW-Premieres: Wednesday, Oct 10 at 8/7c

Beauty and the Beast– CW- Premieres: Thursday, Oct 11 at 9/8c

Elementary– CBS- Premieres: Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 10/9c

Emily Owens, M.D.- CW- Premieres: Tuesday, Oct 16 at 9/8c

Revolution– NBC- Premieres: Monday, September 17 at 10:00/9:00c

I’m seeing lots of familiar faces from shows I loved in the past! I really wish Arrow starred Justin Hartley, the guy who played him in Smallville. That would just make it so much better. Still, he’s one of my favorite comic book heroes, so I’ll still watch it and try to get used to someone else in the role. Speaking of Smallville, Kristin Kreuk aka Lana Lang is looking stunning as usual in her role as the Beauty in Beauty and the Beast!

J.J. Abrams has been hit or miss lately, so I’m really looking forward to what he has to offer with Revolution. Of course, since he’s teaming up with Supernatural’s Eric Kripke, I think it’s going to be a good one! I guess Terry O’Quinn (Lost, Alias) isn’t going to be reprising his role on Hawaii Five-0 this season, since he’ll be busy running an Upper East Side apartment building that just so happens to be inhabited by people who made deals with the devil in 666 Park Avenue. I wonder if he plays the devil? That would be really fitting!

What new (or old) shows are you looking forward to watching this Fall?
