Irish Blessings and Good Luck Sayings

If there is one thing the Irish are famous for, it’s their luck. Although, my dad was almost completely Irish (with a little English mixed in, but he didn’t like to talk about that!), so I’m about half Irish, and I have to say, I’m still waiting for my luck to kick in! Then again, I have to say that I’ve been pretty lucky in some ways. I may not be rich or famous, but I have a wonderful son, an amazing boyfriend, and a family that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Perhaps we should redefine what constitutes luck!

In honor of the upcoming Irish holiday, I rounded up a few of my favorite Irish blessings and good luck sayings. Which one is your favorite?

I’m quote obsessed too! I used to keep a notebook filled with them in high school. I would copy them down during library or study hall from quote books. The internet makes it much easier to fulfill my obsession!

These phrases are lovely! I like the second one and the third. Thanks for sharing. I may make a printable out of one of those.

  4. I really love the last saying. Tea and a warm fire make everything better!
