As one of the pickiest eaters on the planet, I don’t eat a lot of vegetable salads. I do love fruit salad, along with pasta and potato salad. Since it’s Salad Month, and I don’t know a whole lot about the world’s favorite side dish, I turned to those who do: other amazing bloggers! Check out a few of their delicious salad recipes and celebrate Salad Month in yummy style!

Amazing Salad Recipes to Celebrate Salad Month

QuinoaSaladwithAsparagusandGoatCheese

Quinoa Salad with Asparagus and Goat Cheese from OurFamilyWorld. I’ve only recently tried quinoa, and it’s pretty amazing! I’m also, oddly, a huge fan of goat cheese. I really want to try this one! I think it will have a nice nutty taste, and the goat cheese adds such an extra element of flavor.

Tuna Pasta Salad

Joanne’s World Famous Tuna Pasta Salad from Family Food Ideas- I love how easy this recipe is! Joanne claims she’s not a cook, but her tuna pasta salad looks amazing. Take some time to look around her site for more easy recipes! I’m always excited to find things that I can actually make with my own limited cooking skills.

Barbecue Recipes Broccoli Salad

Barbecue Recipes Broccoli Salad Side Dish from Formula Mom. One thing I know about barbecues is that we always have salads to go along with them. I love the idea of this healthy salad recipe. Even more, I love the sentimental meaning behind it: it’s was one of the creator’s grandmother’s recipes. No one makes food quite like grandma!

Sweet Almond Salad

Sweet Almond Salad from This Flourishing Life. I’m totally on board with anything that has almonds in it! The combination of strawberries, almonds, turkey, oranges and goat cheese sounds incredibly appealing! This is the perfect salad recipe for the summer. Other amazing salad recipes on This Flourishing Life include Antioxidant Summer Salad and BLT Pasta Salad.

Heirloom Tomato Salad with Lime Cilantro VinaigretteHeirloom Tomato Salad with Lime Cilantro Vinaigrette from Mindfully Frugal Mom. Talk about an easy salad recipe! This is one even I could make without messing it up! If you grow tomatoes in your garden, this simple side dish is a great way to use them up. The lime cilantro vinaigrette sounds like it would add a nice refreshing kick to it! If you have a lot of radishes, Mindfully Frugal Mom also has a great post on What to do with Radishes!

brocolli pasta salad

Creamy Broccoli Pasta Salad Recipe from The Michigan Mom. This salad recipe has three of my favorite things in it: pasta, black olives, and corn! My son is also a huge fan of black olives. I think maybe I could get him to try anything as long as I included those in it!

 Broccoli salad recipe

Broccoli Salad Recipe from Springmount 6 Pack- Looking for more ways to get your family to eat their broccoli? This one is super easy, yet looks super tasty! Plus, it has bacon! Everyone loves bacon! I only eat the turkey version, but even my picky son is a bacon fan.

Watermelon Salad

Watermelon Salad from Two Little Cavaliers- One of my favorite things about Two Little Cavaliers is that many of the recipes can be consumed by both humans and dogs. I have three dogs, and they are a bit on the spoiled side. I absolutely love the combination of watermelon and Feta cheese! My brother turned me on to it last year, and it’s amazing. It’s sweet and salty in a healthy way. If you’re looking for more recipes to make for both you and your beloved four-legged children, check out her Avocado Tomato Salad too.

Fruit Salad Recipe

Rainbow Fruit Salad from Musings from a Stay at Home Mom. I love, love, love fruit salad! This recipe has so many of my favorite fruits in it! Ten different ones! It has to be the best fruit salad recipe I’ve ever seen. Definitely making this as soon as all these wonderful fruits come in season around me. Musings from a SAHM also has a Delicious Chicken Salad Recipe that would be perfect for summer family gatherings.

Orzo Summer Salad Recipe

Orzo Summer Salad from Grandma Juice. I have to admit, I don’t actually know what Orzo is (I looked it up, now I know), but I totally trust any recipe from Grandma Juice to be delicious. She’s amazing! This salad recipe is filled with so many healthy foods, it’s practically a main meal on its own. Grandma Juice also has a delicious Watermelon, Feta and Mint recipe that I’m dying to try.
