I received a sample of RoomMates Peel and Stick Decor to help me write this review. All opinions are my own.

I need help staying on task. Actually, I need help remembering what all my tasks are in any given day! Calenders are great and all, but I have to remember to actually look in them if they’re going to work. Basically, I need an “in your face” to-do list. The thing is, my work space is very tiny. It’s in my kitchen, and the walls don’t really allow for hanging stuff with nails (you know, so they actually stay, because I’ve found that tape wears off quickly!). I am surrounded by brick from the fireplace on one side, linoleum-type wall behind my computer area, and kitchen cabinets everywhere else.

When I was given the chance to review RoomMates Peel and Stick Decor and told to go ahead and pick something out, I was a bit overwhelmed by the choices at first. I was going to get something for my son’s room. He could use a little updating from the same posters he’s had since he was 3! He’s almost 8 and his tastes have changed a bit. I’d show you a picture, but his room looks like a toy store threw up in it right now, and I like to at least pretend that I’m all sorts of organized. Of course, if you’re a long-time reader, you know that’s just me being totally delusional!

Black & White Chalkboard & Dry Erase Dot Wall Decals

Then I saw them: the beautiful, awesome, amazing RoomMates  Black & White Chalkboard & Dry Erase Dot Wall Decals. It was love at first site! I love chalk boards and dry erase boards! Not only are they economical and pretty, but they’re much better for the environment than writing paper notes to myself, then tossing them when I don’t need them anymore.

That is NOT my office space. I wish it was! That is the photo from the RoomMates website. It inspires me and gives me hope that someday I’ll have such a neat little work space. Here’s the thing: on any given day, I have about five posts to write, social media to schedule, emails to answer, posts to promote and networking to get done…for three sites. Aside from Pretty Opinionated, I also do a lot of work for OurFamilyWorld and MyKidsGuide. I love it! It’s really my idea of a dream job, but it also requires some sort of ability to organize my time. All that work I do? That’s usually before noon! I like to get as much done in the morning so I can spend the afternoon coming up with new ideas and running errands before my son gets home from school. With summer coming, I’ll need to cram even more into my morning routine so he’s not locked inside all day!

RoomMates Wall Decals really do help keep me on task. I can jot down the notes for the major things that MUST get done that day, then erase them as I do them. It really gives me a sense of accomplishment to wipe an item off my to-do list! I use the big dots for my blogging work, and the smaller dot for notes about doctor appointments or things my son has coming up.

Easy up, easy down

One of the things I love about the RoomMates wall decor is that it’s super easy to put up and just as easy to take down. Just peel and stick, then unstick and move! I boogered up the big chalkboard decal when I put it up, so I already know how easy it is to take off and realign. They’re perfect for renters who can’t paint a room or hang pictures with nails! You could feasibly decorate your entire house with them, as they have a huge line of awesome decals. If you can’t find one you like, design your own!

I also love how reasonably priced they are! My set costs just $17.49. They have everything from smaller sets to giant, stunning room murals. Choose your theme, set your budget, then shop for amazing decor! They even have stuff for Disney or sports fans!
