“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting sponsored by Publishers Clearing House. I received a product sample and promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
As someone who has been relatively broke for the last few years, I spend a lot of time thinking about how I would spend money if I actually had it. I’m a pretty simple girl with simple needs. I just want a house with a three-story library, an indoor in-ground pool and maybe a home theater! Nothing too fancy! Okay, seriously, I’d be happy with a one-room library/office, an above-ground kiddie pool and a flat-screen TV! Yes, I’m probably the last person in America who still doesn’t have a flat-screen!
The Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes is pretty much an American icon. I remember my grandmother entering it when I was a kid. Back then, of course, you had to enter the old-fashioned way: by snail mailing your sweepstakes entry. It was always fun to think that, just maybe, our family would be receiving a big, giant check. Part of the fun of entering a sweepstakes is dreaming about how you would use your prize! As a kid, I think my dream house was pretty in line with what it is now. Except, of course, in those OLD days, we didn’t have flat-screen TVs! Kids are so lucky today! There may also have been a magic village of little blue people living in my backyard in my childhood dreams.
Now, it’s so much easier to enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, and it doesn’t even cost the price of a stamp anymore! With no purchase necessary, all it takes is a few seconds at your computer, and you will be entered for a chance to win $5,000 a week FOREVER! Yes, forever! Not even just your life, but the life of your beneficiary too! That means I could win $5,000 a week (or $260,000 year) every year for the rest of my life, then leave it to Jacob. The prize is guaranteed to be awarded at the end of this August. Last August, it was awarded to the very lucky John Wyllie of White
City, Oregon! Can you imagine how his life must have changed?
So what are you waiting for? Head on over to Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes and enter for your chance to win $5,000 a week forever! The winner will be announced on NBC on August 29th, so you still have plenty of time to get your name in the proverbial hat!
What would you do with $5,000 a week forever?
I entered. I’d probably leave a school, get rid of the little debt I have at the moment (would only take two weeks), buy a nice home, a nice car, and live lavishly for the rest of my life. It’s hard to even imagine $5000 a week, without working, or anything. Oh god.
$5000 a week? I would be able to get the Husband student loans paid off in a few months and then we could also get a house! That would be fantastic! We are died of living under student loan debt!!
oh my I would pay off my home, and travel a lot!
Oh man, I could pay off my student loan debt in a month! Then buy a new car, new house and then go crazy on stupid stuff of course! Hehe.
I have similar memories of Publishers Clearing House when I was growing up. My dad would always enter (old fashioned way too, of course). And I would daydream about how we could spend that money if we won. Thanks for the heads up about this….$5,000 a week would come in very handy!!
If I were fortunate enough to win the ‘FOREVER” PRIZE”, I would probably help all of my children and grandchildren with any financial problem they might have and then concentrate on all of my adorable great grandchildren next. I have two great medical groups I would most certainly, give a large contribution, the U.S. Kidney foundation and the South Dakota Eye Bank, as two members of my family, received transplants from these organizations, and I am forever grateful for these gifts of life given to my family members.
There are so many that I see every day that could use some help. I feel that I could make it
better for a lot of needy people. Along with friends and family that could use some help.
I am a member of the Moose Association and we support the Mooseheart Child City located
40 miles north of Chicago. I would help them.
If I would be so lucky, I would take care of my daughter as she has stepped up when I came down with cancer and not one time complained. I also would love to help my sisters, Son, and so many more needy people that would love the help.
I’m 74 years old I’ve had a hard operation I got a liver problems I want to get my bills paid so my wife won’t have to worry about boarding the movement can’t even get on the same page to have a civil conversation
