I received Popar Interactive 3D Puzzles in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.

Popar Planet Interactve 3D Puzzle

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved doing jigsaw puzzles. I find them incredibly relaxing! I passed on that love to Jacob at an early age. I remember sitting with him when he was a baby and doing those simple wooden puzzles. We eventually graduated to 25-pieces, then 5o. Now, we’ve worked our way up to the 100+ piece club! He’s still got a while to go until he’s doing 5000 piece puzzles like I used to do before he was born (you know, back when spare time wasn’t a laughable concept!).

Take Puzzles to a Whole New Dimension

Popar is taking the puzzle-loving world to whole new dimensions with their interactive 3D puzzle games! They’ve created seven awesome puzzles that you can put together in the real, then play with on your mobile virtual world. The company takes their slogan of “Read it. See it. Be it.” very seriously! We reviewed the Construction Machines and Planets Puzzles. Other puzzles include:

  • Basketball
  •  Football
  • Soccer
  • Construction
  • Picnic
  • Planets
  • Princess

Playing with the Popar Interactive 3D Puzzles is a two-part process. The first part is pretty much like you would expect. Your child (with or without your help, depending on age and level of patience) puts the puzzle together. Now, a logical person would do this on a flat surface, like a table. For some reason, Jacob and I did it on his carpeted floor. I know there was a good reason we couldn’t use the table that night, but I can’t remember what it is. Trying to put together a puzzle on a carpet is quite challenging.

Popar Puzzle 1

That’s my shadow on the floor, not a stain. At least I think it is! I should go check on that later! We did the Construction Machines puzzle first. The great thing about this puzzle is that It’s almost like several mini-puzzles that hook together. It was very easy to assemble and took us less than an hour. I’ll be honest, I did most of the work while Jacob helped out here and there. Mostly he supervised. Whatever, we still got to spend time together, right?

Popar Puzzle 2

Once the puzzle is done, the fun really begins. For Jake, anyway. Apparently I did my part and the rest was up to him. To activate the interactive features, you just have to go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download the app. It is available on both Android and Apple, which made me super happy! We have an Android tablet, so we headed to the Google Play store. It was easy to find the app just by searching “Popar.” It didn’t take long to download!

Take Your Popar Interactive 3D Puzzle to the Next Level

Once you’ve downloaded and installed your free Popar App for your puzzle, it’s time for a whole new level of fun! Just point your tablet at the puzzle and see it come to life. I suggest doing this in good lighting. You will need to be pretty still until the tablet camera recognizes the puzzle parts and launches the interactive features too. It is incredibly difficult to take a picture of a tablet screen, and I have yet to figure out how to take screenshots with my tablet, so I’m going to have to rely on Popar’s pictures from here on out.

Popar Interactive 3D Puzzle

Both the Planets and the Construction Interactive 3D Puzzles have fun games to play once the puzzle is put together. The Construction puzzle app tells you all about the different machines and how they are used. With cool sound effects and rich details, kids will really feel like they are immersed in the experience.

Popar Planets

My personal favorite was the Planets puzzle! While Jacob loved playing the Missile Defender game, I enjoyed learning about the planets. Popar Interactive 3D Puzzles are such a fun way to update a classic family activity. Check out Popar Toys to order your Interactive 3D Puzzle!
