I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OshKosh B’gosh. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating.

Osh Kosh

Osh Kosh B’Gosh has been one of my favorite stores to shop for clothes for Jacob since he was born. I  go to the one at the Crossings Outlets in Tannersville, PA. They always have such great sales and coupons that you can use on top of those sales. I received$100 to spend at Osh Kosh B’Gosh for this post and was challenged to see how far it could go. I was really surprised at how much I got for that! It was a lot more than I expected!

My plan was to grab a couple of pairs of winter jammies, a few shirts and maybe a nice sweater for holiday pictures. I went in the middle of the week, so the store was relatively quiet. Not empty, just not as crowded as it gets on the weekend. I totally lucked out because they were having a Veterans Day sales event that had already started. They had all these great door buster sales going on, including fleece shirts for $8. I didn’t take a lot of pictures in the store because the staff was a bit leery. I promised them I wouldn’t take any pictures of anything negative. Honestly, that wouldn’t have been a concern because the store was very clean and organized- just like it always is. The two sales people working in the store were pleasant and helpful, especially the woman who checked me out when I was done. She took the time to explain to me which items weren’t covered by the coupon (door busters and clearance, basically).

After checking out the Door Busters and grabbing three graphic shirts for $6 each, I headed into the heart of Jacob’s section. You’ll notice that there is a sale sign on just about every rack! Just about everything in the store was on sale this week. Yay! I spent a good half hour in the store deciding how best to spend the money. The pajama selection was a bit limited, but it was buy one get one free. I was able to find two pairs in Jake’s size. I do wish I could have found more, but apparently there was a rush on size 10 boys jammies this week (I buy his jammies big so they last more than one year, he’s actually a size 8 in most things).

What I couldn’t find in jammies, Osh Kosh made up for in their selection of jeans and comfy pants. Jacob really likes those cottony athletic pants and they happened to be on sale for $10 a pair. Jeans were also on sale for $12! I was thrilled because I just bought Jake several pairs of size 7 jeans a couple months ago and he suddenly hit a growth spurt. Now he’s in size 8 and I’m scrambling to get enough pairs for him. He also needed some good waterproof winter gloves for playing in the snow. Those were on sale for $11, so I grabbed two pairs.

At checkout, I used my 25% off any $30 purchase coupon. My total came to $112 after the discounts and coupons. I took home two bags of clothes. My total haul for the day: Two pairs of jammies, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of gloves, three graphic long-sleeve shirts and three pairs of comfy pants. That’s 12 items for $112!

What about the winter sweater? Well, I decided to go with the Santa Claus is coming graphic shirt instead because, honestly, Jacob doesn’t really even like wearing sweaters. He loved all his new clothes and wore his cozy Rock Star jammies to bed that night. Okay, so he loved everything except the jeans, because he thinks I am crazy for always getting him new jeans whenever we go shopping. I told him that if he would just stop growing he wouldn’t need new jeans so often!

Visit the Osh Kosh website to check out their great winter offerings! I almost forgot to mention! In addition to all the savings, I also got two $10 off coupons for use between now and December 23rd. So basically, I have $20 to use on anything. The very helpful sales clerk told me that I could walk in, grab $20 worth of clothes and pay nothing or I could use it to get a discount on more clothes. I’ll be using it to grab some cute baby clothes for my niece who is due to arrive at the end of December.
