I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Little Remedies. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Say Yes to Less with Little Remedies! #SayYes2LessSay Yes to Less with Little Remedies! #SayYes2Less

This holiday season, I am taking the pledge to say Yes to Less…stress that is! See, stress is one of the worst things for your body. It raises cortisol levels and taxing your immune system. Plus, we all know that stress is just as contagious as the common cold! So when you’re freaking out, your kids are probably freaking out in their own way. Instead of acting like a maniac this year, I’m trying to say yes to much less stress. While I can’t reduce all stress in my life (if anyone can, I want to know their secret!), I can reduce the stress over things I control. Like when and where I go shopping or just how perfect I expect my Christmas cookies to turn out. I mean, we all know I can’t cook, right? I can bake pretty well and make cookies that taste fantastic, but honestly, they’re not always much to look at! So what? It’s the taste that really matters! See, less stress already! Check out my video pledge to saying yes to less stress:

Little Remedies Say Yes to Less Pledge

What will you say yes to less of? Head over to the Say Yes to Less Pledge page and make your pledge. Less stress wasn’t on the list, so I pledged to saying yes to less negativity, which is basically the same thing. I made it my goal to be more patient in everyday life. My biggest issue is that I’m too impatient, which of course makes me totally stressed when things aren’t going exactly my way.  I can check in daily to update my progress on my goal to say yes to less. Plus, for every pledge made, Little Remedies will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation! Your pledge to make your own life better can help brighten the life of a sick child, isn’t that awesome?

Little Remedies: Big Relief for Little Bodies

Little Remedies has always been a staple during cold and flu season in our house. I started using it when Jacob was itty-bitty. I wanted something as close to natural as possible. As a former nursing student, I recognize the value of certain medications. Fever reducers are a necessity. So I was never anti-medicine, I just liked to use natural products when I could. Little Remedies contains the medicine that children need for their symptoms and nothing more. No artificial colors or flavors, and NO alcohol! That is VERY important! I mean, really, why on earth would you want to give your baby alcohol???

When my son gets sick, I usually give the virus a chance to run its course. If his temperature is below 101,  I let it run. Over 101, though, I reach for Little Remedies Fever Reducer. I’ve been lucky because he has an amazing immune system. He rarely gets sick. We practice good hand hygiene. That’s really the most important thing to keeping germs at bay. Other than that, though, I don’t go all nuts trying to avoid germs. I think the more we try to avoid them, the worse it is when our kids get exposed to them later in life.

What do you do to keep your kids healthier in the winter? Will you take the pledge to say Yes to Less?
