Like most dogs, my three pooches are total treat hounds. All I have to say is “who wants something something?” and they come running. That started when Tasha and Maia were puppies. My mom was trying to tell me to give them “something” without them hearing the word “treats” and going all nutty. Maia quickly figured out what “something” is! Now, we can’t even say that word without her wanting a treat. Just like we can’t say “bacon” without them looking for their Beggin’® treats!
Turn Treat Time into Playtime with Beggin’® Party Poppers™
Since my pups love Beggin’® so much, I knew they’d enjoy Beggin’® Poppers™! The new Party Poppers™ are Beggin’® wrapped cheese flavored cubes. Yummy on their own, I’m sure (I didn’t taste them, although Jacob asked if he could, then chickened out at the last minute!), add in the Beggin’® Party Poppers™ pig and you can turn treat time into playtime!
How, you ask? Simply place the Beggin’® Poppers™ treat on the nose of the pig, press down and watch it pop up! I got Jacob to try it with Cooper, as he needs a bit of exercise! Cooper that is, not Jacob. Just look at the expression on Cooper’s face as he waits for Jake to break open the container!
Cooper could hardly wait to get his yummy treat! Jacob put the pig on the table to get ready to pop those Poppers™! He did a much better job at it than I did. I’m not all that coordinated. I tried to get a good picture of Cooper catching the treat, but he turned his back to me. I doubt you want to see photos of my dog’s rear! I did, however, get the pre-pop shot! Jake had fun giving Cooper his treats, and Coop got a little bit of exercise while catching it. They both got some bonding playtime, which is really a treat for both of them.

This is so cute having Beggin Poppers for doggie. My dog loves getting treats too! I usually hide some treats around and he always finds them. I play hide and seek with his treats.

When we had dogs, we loved giving them treats but we usually just awarded them when we got home or grabbed one “just because”. When they were pups, we made more of a game out of it with tricks and all but as they got older, it was just too hard for them.
I know a pup that definitely begs for her Beggin’ Strips. What a sweet puppy.
