I admit, I’m not exactly a fashionista. I wear what I like, even if it’s not “in style.” Up until recently, I thought that scarves were just for winter. I also thought that they wouldn’t look good on me. When La Fiorentina contacted me and asked if I wanted to check out one of their scarves, though, they were too pretty to pass up. I thought I’d try it out, then give it to my aunt if it didn’t look good on me. After wearing it once, though, I’m a scarf convert! I’m totally keeping it!

La Fiorentina: Gorgeous Scarves for Year-Round Style

First, let me apologize for the bad somewhat selfie. On the plus side, I finally figured out how to use the self-portrait timer on my Canon! Go me! On the downside, I couldn’t figure out where to stand. To make things even worse, I ended up standing in a really bad spot and got a beetle in my hair! I don’t think you can see it in the picture. My mom saw it when I came back in, while I screamed “Oh my gods, get it off meeeeeee!!!!!” Ick, now I feel it all over again.

Yes, my hair is somewhat purple in the sun, do you like it? It matches the purple tones in the scarf! I’d be happier if it was more purple (my hair, not the scarf), but the days of keeping up with cool hair colors are way behind me. Anyway, this scarf is gorgeous! I worried that it would make me hot, but it’s made of a super light material. It actually keeps me cooler because it keeps my hair off my neck.

I love that the scarf comes already styled. I’m not sure if I’m saying that right. Basically, it comes twisted just right and connected at the ends, so you just have to loop it around your neck and position it. Seriously, aside from the bridesmaid dress hanging in my closet from my brother’s wedding, this scarf is the nicest piece of fashion that I currently own! I love that they have such a variety of prices, depending on the material. They have some gorgeous scarves starting as low as $24. The one I reviewed is closer to the $75-100 range.
