Head’s up, Powerpuffs! The ENTIRE library of The Powerpuff Girls “classic” AND the reimagined and Emmy Award-nominated animated 2016 series of the same name is now streaming on Hulu. That’s EVERY single episode of the show that proves Girl Power rules the world.

If you aren’t already familiar with The Powerpuff Girls, it is a beloved animated series that originally began on Cartoon Network way back in the mid-90s. I was just about 20 when it premiered! Sheesh, has it been that long? The show celebrates “Girl Power” through the adventures of three sisters who just happen to be superheroes, too! Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles use their combined powers to keep their town safe from giant monsters and other villains.
The show is incredibly empowering to young girls. At the time that it came out, superhero shows were geared more towards boys, or girl heroes were a small part of an ensemble and always outnumbered by boy heroes in the group. While shows are a bit more diverse today, The Powerpuff Girls’ message still remains an important one: girls can do anything they set their mind to!
The Powerpuff Girls celebration included an amazing contest that showed off real life superhero girls! The initiative highlighted girls across the country who are doing incredible things and inspiring others along the way. Whether it is working in the fields of science or sports, doing great things for their families or within their community. While the contest portion is over, the stories are still incredibly empowering for young girls!
