Gather a Lifetime of Memories in One Book with Blurb

Blurb1

A few weeks ago, I was offered an early bird trial of Blurb’s new Designer Photo Book Templates , and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to round up some memories into a more physical form. I went back and forth on which memories I wanted to capture, before finally deciding. I did a month-by-month account of Jacob’s life, with one photo from each month. He’s 7 now, so that’s 92 months to cover! Choosing just one photo from each month was the hardest part. Putting them into the book was the easiest! Read more »

Gifts for Kids: Fun and Inspiring Goodies from Knock Knock

I first came across Knock Knock while perusing some of my favorite blogs, and was really intrigued by all the different ways they inspire kids to use their imagination (not to mention all the fun products they have for adults!). I was thrilled to get the chance to check them out first-hand, and agonized over which of their many items to review. I finally chose the This…Or That? Activity Pad. Jacob loves activity books that ask him different questions, so this was absolutely perfect for him. Plus, I can keep it and show it to him when he’s all grown [...] Read more »

Keep Track of Your Kids’ Stuff With Mabel’s Lables

If you’re looking for an easy way to keep track of all your kids’ stuff this year, check out Mabel’s Labels. They’re super cute, extremely durable, and will help ensure that your child’s lunchbox doesn’t go home with someone else. I plan to put them on everything Jacob owns, because he manages to smuggle prized possessions off to school and they either end up getting stolen or he gets suckered into trading them for something he doesn’t even want. He’s entirely too trusting, and some kids take advantage of that. I “frisk” him before he leaves, but he’s like a [...] Read more »

Create Brilliant Projects with AstroBrights Papers

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. It seems like summer just started, and we're already planning for back to school. Jacob has a little over a month until he heads into second grade, and I'm already stocking up on paper, pencils, and everythign else he'll need. Last year, he had a lot of projects that required him to express his creativity in different ways, so I can only imagine what's ahead now that he's getting older! AstroBrights papers are a great way for [...] Read more »

Paper Culture: Exceptional Quality for All Your Paper Needs

Between summer parties, wedding showers, and the possibility of actually making it to a conference this year, I’ve had more “paper needs” than ever before, so I was excited to try out Paper Culture, an eco-friendly, hip and modern paper goods store. They offer everything from Christmas cards to save the date cards, and just about anything you can think of in between. The best part: what they don’t offer, you can pretty much wing with the products they do offer. Read more »

If you haven’t already seen it, the MomME Time Giveaway Event has started, and I still have one more sponsor to share with you. One of my awesome sponsors is Hallmark, the premier name in cards and gifts. I received the same prize package that my winner will receive: a Mom & Me Conversation Book, a Recordable Canvas Art Kit, and three cards. I’m not showing the cards here because I’m using them for my mom, as somehow they managed to send me the absolute most perfect cards that fit my personality. Read more »

Fun Stationary for Kids from Minted

Now that Jacob has learned to spell on his own (more or less, obviously at 6, he’s not writing Shakespeare), he loves writing notes to his friends. He has two that are his “best friends,” and I swear he’s already worse than a teenage girl when it comes to talking on the phone. As soon as he gets off the phone, he remembers something he needed to tell them, so I encourage him to go write it down. He talks on speaker phone, and that gets really old after a while, so I limit his phone time. Of course, having [...] Read more »

The Wisdom of Others Review

When I was younger, I used to spend hours copying my favorite quotes down into a little notebook so I could keep them close to me and use them for inspiration. Eventually, I lost that notebook and moved on to copying and pasting them into a word document from various sites around the net, but that wasn’t very portable. I’ve always wanted a nice little bound book filled with my favorite words of wisdom, something that I could tuck into my purse on days that I needed a bit of a lift. Thanks to The Wisdom of Others, I now [...] Read more »
