Old Mother Hubbard Soft & Chewy Bitz Review and GiveawaySo, did anyone get a new puppy for Christmas? I didn’t because I already have three dogs and one of them (Maia) would probably kill me in my sleep if I brought another puppy into her life. She’s an old girl though, so I guess I can’t blame her. For those who did get a new puppy, or those with old girls (or boys, or hey, any other type of dog for that matter), Old Mother Hubbard Soft & Chewy Bits should definitely be on your shopping list. These little morsels make great training treats or just plain old “hey, you’re a great dog, have a bit of peanut buttery goodness!”

We try to feed our dogs the most natural stuff possible to keep them around for as long as we can, and Old Mother Hubbard has been a staple in our dog treat canister for a while now. Their products are made with the best possible natural ingredients by people who have been in the business for over 80 years. The Peanut Butter Bitz actually contains peanut butter as the first ingredient. They’re itty, bitty little bits, as the name implies, but even my ginormous dogs eagerly awaited each little morsel.

We also tried out the Low-Fat Oven Baked Dog Treats, which my dogs found particularly pleasing. Here they are waiting oh-so impatiently for Jacob to throw them a bite:

Here’s Cooper getting ready to snatch one out of mid-air while Tasha waits for her turn:

Tasha finds them lip-smackingly good as you can tell from this picture:

Tasha, Maia, and Cooper loved both types of treats. In fact, I use the treats to bribe them to come in when they’re outside barking at passing leaves, airplanes, and random stray cats. Yes, I’m THAT annoying neighbor with the dogs. When I shake the bag, they all come running, and no one calls the cops! So it’s a win-win situation for all involved. Note, I am just kidding about the cops, so far no one has called yet, I don’t let the dogs bark at night.
