Nutrisystem Week 5: Getting Back on Track #NSNationWell, since there is photographic evidence on my blog already, I suppose I should admit that I wasn’t exactly faithful to my diet during our Valentine’s Day trip. Chocolate has always been my major weakness, and putting that much in front of me just isn’t safe! I’ve been home for a few days, the Valentine’s day chocolate supply has dwindled down to nothing, and I resisted the temptation to buy half-off candy from the clearance section of the store for the first time in years. So, I’m ready to get back on track with my Nutrisystem Success For Women plan.

One of the best things about the plan is that if you do fall off the wagon, it’s really easy to get back on. Just start eating the right foods again, and you’re back on your way to success. No guess work and no crazy readjustment period.  The Nutrisystem plan is that easy. Best of all, no one makes you feel guilty for slipping up.

As far as my weight-loss goes, I’ve hit a bit of a plateau when it comes to the numbers on the scale. Technically, I’m down about eight pounds since starting. However, I have been more active, and my pants are definitely getting more loose. I’m assuming that I’m gaining muscle, which we all know weighs more than fat. For the next week, I’m going to focus less on the numbers on the scale, and more on how my clothes feel. Even though the numbers stopped moving this week (which could have something to do with my cheating, so I can’t blame the plan), I do feel much better about myself these days! I still have quite a ways to go if I want to reach my goal by July (which I figure is my deadline for getting my dress, plus we’re going to be vacationing on a beach for my future sister-in-law’s bachelorette party), but as long as I stick t the plan, I know I’ll make it.
