Fruit snacks often go pretty quickly in my house, but I don’t think any have gone as fast as the new Mott’s Medley Fruit Flavored Snacks have. Ever since our package arrived on the doorstep, Jacob has been eating them like crazy. They’re the perfect size for grabbing and going, and I have a tremendously busy kid. Between summer play dates, spending time at the park, or even just sitting at home attempting to master his newest video game, he prefers snacks that he can grab and eat without much effort. I, on the other hand, prefer snacks that are at least somewhat good for him.
While nothing can replace real fruit and vegetables, Mott’s Medley Fruit Flavored Snacks are made with juices from the real deal, so they’re definitely better for kids than cookies or candy. We tried the Assorted Fruit and the Berry flavors. The Assorted Fruit says it’s made with vegetable juice. I’m so picky, I won’t eat something if I know if contains vegetables, even if everyone on the planet told me you couldn’t taste them. Everyone is welcome to sneak vegetables into my food without telling me, the same way you’d do for a picky child, just don’t let me know it’s there. Jacob, thankfully, isn’t quite as bad as I am, and he really seems to love the Assorted Fruit flavor.
If you collect Box Tops for Education (I try, but I always forget. Sal, on the other hand, usually remembers to tear them off and save them), you’ll be happy to know that Mott’s Medley snacks all come with double Box Tops year round.
