Authors Tania Elfersy & Andrea Katzman are giving away a copy of their gorgeous book for moms, Purple Leaves, Red Cherries. This book features short stories, a journal, and a toolkit with resources for moms of all ages. According to the authors, the “purple leaves” represent the stories in the book that inspire other moms and encourage creative thinking, while the “red cherries” are the moments of enlightenment that every mother feels throughout their journey. Each story is only about 140 words long, so you can read a few here and there when you have time. I really love the illustrations, they’re so peaceful and inspiring. The journal contains writing prompts to help you write out your own story, and the toolkit has ideas that can be completed in as little as just a few minutes. The entire book is designed with busy moms in mind.
