Even though I have no nails on my fingers to speak of, I still love collecting gorgeous nail polish colors for my toes. I change the color almost every week during the summer, when flip-flops are my shoe of choice. Even in the winter, I like to switch things up a bit just for fun. I had heard so many good things about Julep, so I was really excited to check out the Julep It Girl Maven box, one of the choices in their Julep Maven subscription program.
The It Girl box that I received included the colors Charlotte, Sasha, and Lily. Charlotte, pictured left, is my favorite of the three. I love the rich, deep lavender tone. Sasha is described as fresh cantaloupe, and it does have the shade of the juicy inside of the fruit. Lily is fuchsia, and she’s positively brilliant. Check her out to the right over there. Lily will go perfect with my fuchsia bride’s maid shoes!
I really love how vibrant and long-lasting the color is with the Julep nail-polishes. The color didn’t chip or peel at all, even after a week of running around in the woods, swimming, and other activities done barefoot or in flip-flops. All three colors came bundled up in a cute gift set perfect for giving to someone or keeping for yourself. Julep even thought to include two toe separators to make painting easier. The colors are a little off in the picture below, it’s hard to photograph makeup and nail polish accurately with a mediocre camera.
