Skin care products with the “natural” label slapped across it seem to be everywhere these days, but just how natural are they really? In many cases, less than 10% of the entire product may be so-called natural, with the rest of it filled with random junk that really has no place on the human body. Caribbean Solutions, on the other hand, makes actual natural products, crafted with only the finest ingredients that nature has to offer.

I originally had a post planned telling you all about the great features of the two products that I tried out, and I’ll get to that in a minute. Right now, though, as I sit here typing up posts while I can still find gas to power the generator, with no heat and no water, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I miss the scent of the Rainforest Citrus Mint Natural Shampoo, and the feeling of clean hair. On a good day, this stuff is awesome. All minty and fresh as it strips the nasty buildup from your hair, leaving you with soft, manageable tresses. But right now, I’m all gross and miserable, and all I can think about is taking a shower, washing my hair with the awesome shampoo, then slathering on my Natural Kukui Body Silk Lotion when I get out.  My poor hair and skin is screaming for a little moisturizing right now! I’m writing this on Weds, and we’ve been without power since Monday. We’ll probably be without still by the time you read this.

With Caribbean Solutions, all natural means all natural.

When Caribbean Solutions says their ingredients are natural, they mean it. They’re completely dedicated to maintaining the integrity of their mission statement, and they don’t throw that term around lightly. Not only do they use the best ingredients from nature, their products are also safe for marine life and the eco-system. Their amazing products are packaged in recycled packaging, and they don’t test on cute little bunnies (or any other animal for that matter).

The Rainforest Citrus Mint shampoo that I am so desperately missing right now is totally free of parabens, sulfates, and other nasty ingredients that will dry out your hair. It smells so amazing and has a refreshing feeling as the mint tingles on your scalp. While it’s definitely a salon-quality shampoo, the price is far from salon-high. At just $10 for an 8oz bottle, it’s definitely a great deal!

The Natural Kukui Body Silk moisturizer feels amazing on dry skin. I love the scent, which is very tropical yet not at all overwhelming. The natural aloe definitely helps keep skin nice and soft. I may not be able to wash my hair right now, but hey, at least I can smell pretty and keep my skin from drying out with this fantastic moisturizer!

Caribbean Solutions has a wide range of natural skin care products that will make great gifts for anyone on your list, particularly for her!
