I received BeKOOOL Itch Relief Patches in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.
I can’t stand being itchy. I’d rather suffer from some sort of pain than be itchy all night long. That’s saying a lot, because I’m a huge baby when it comes to pain! One of the reasons I’m not a huge fan of summer is because of the bugs. Bugs bite. Bites itch. Itches keep me up all night. It’s not a fun time of year for me! Jacob fares no better. Apparently, his blood is just as sweet as mine to mosquitoes. Between the two of us, we go through a lot of itch relief cream.
When BeKOOOL (cool name, right?) asked if I wanted to try out the Itch Relief Patches, I practically screamed “yes!” Seriously, anything with the words “itch relief” in it is something I want to try. It’s not just summer that gets me. In the winter, I get really dry patches that get itchy. So basically, I need itch relief year round.
Also, I have some sort of weird psychosomatic issue where the moment I lay down in bed, I get an itch that will not go away. My therapist once told me that it’s part of my anxiety disorder. Apparently, just as I’m drifting off, my brain screams “no! You shouldn’t be sleeping, you should be worrying! Here’s an itch to keep you up so you can think about all the things that can go wrong in life!” You would think that psychosomatic itches wouldn’t react to itch relief, but actually, they do.
BeKOOOL Itch Relief Patches Work Like Magic
Psychosomatic itches aside, the BeKOOOL Itch Relief Patches work very well on my very real itches. They’re these clear little disks that you just peel off, then pop on top of your bug bite or other source of itchiness. The little medicated patches not only help stop the itchiness, but they protect the skin around your bug bite, poison ivy or other irritation. They’re practically invisible on your skin, so no one else knows that you’re wearing them. You’ll only know because you won’t be itchy!
Each package comes with 18 patches. They’re very reasonably priced, so you can stock up and have plenty for the whole family. I’ve been using them for about three weeks now and I love them. It’s so nice to be able to fall asleep at night without spending an hour trying to ignore an itch.
Jacob likes them because they don’t burn. He’s very sensitive about anything medicated. He doesn’t like most itch relief creams because he said they sting. I’ve never experienced that, but like I said, he’s sensitive. The BeKOOOL Itch Relief patches do not sting. They also keep him from going bonkers on a bug bite and scratching it open. That means less worrying about infection from a cut.
BeKOOOL Migraine Relief
I also tried out the BeKOOOL Migraine Relief Patches. I have frequent headaches and find that a cold compress really helps. It’s not really practical for me to walk around with ice strapped to my forehead though! I love that the BeKOOOL Migraine Relief patches stick to my forehead without getting in the way. I wouldn’t walk around in public with them on, but since I spend most of my time at home, they’re perfect for that. BeKOOOL makes a similar product for kids to help reduce fevers.

I am definitely excited to try the Itch Relief Patches with our 3 year old… she will scratch mosquito bites and other bug bites until they bleed :/ We already use the BeKool Fever Gel Sheets with our 3 year old and our 10 year old, and we love them! I usually have them on hand and even keep some in the car!
