What makes you sparkle? You know, something that gives you that gushy, happy feeling the moment you see it? For me, the main thing that makes me sparkle is my son. Even when he’s being a smarty pants, he still makes me feel so proud and happy that I could burst into a giant cloud of glitter. Talk about sparkle! Just look at the handsome little face of his!
He’s so incredibly smart, funny and silly. He makes every day so much more interesting. Seriously, I have no idea what I did before him. Everything I do today, and everything I’ve accomplished, was because of him. When I became a single mom, I had to break out of my shell and put real effort into an actual writing career. It was the only thing I knew how to do well, but I was too scared of rejection. He needed to eat and wear clothes, though, and I needed to learn how to earn an income on my own. So I forced myself to apply for writing jobs. Without him, I wouldn’t have become who I am today!
Whenever I’m feeling down, he tries to cheer me up. When I’m already in a good mood, he just amps that up even more. He’s awesome, plain and simple. He is the one being I can always count on to make me sparkle.

Look at his smile, I can see why he makes you sparkle. My grandson makes me sparkle, he is in his terrible 2’s but he sure can make me laugh and smile a lot. These drinks look good, I haven’t tried them yet.
