Two weeks ago, we babysat my most insanely adorable niece, Abigail, for the weekend while my brother and sister-in-law had some much-needed time alone. I’ve been holding on to the Little Tikes Activity Garden Adventure Set since it was sent to me for review. I wanted to really get you pictures of it in use. I also wanted more excuses to share pictures of Abbie, not that I need them!

I’m going to kindly ask you to pardon the stuff in the background. I forgot how much work babies are and didn’t really have a chance to turn my living room into a beautiful studio setting. Not that I ever do. Still, babies? A lot of work. Fun, but work.

The Little Tikes Activity Garden Adventure Set is a fun 3-in-1 toy that lets kids climb, slide or rock. Putting it together wasn’t quite as challenging as I thought it would be. I am notorious for putting things on backwards. I may or may not have put the caterpillars face on wrong at first. I also may or may not have forgotten a screw. Only I know for sure. I didn’t cry a single time though, so that means it’s pretty easy to assemble!

Once assembled, Little Miss Abbie got to climbing. This was by far her favorite part of the Activity Garden Adventure Center. We had to help her out a bit because she’s not quite ready to stand on her own. That doesn’t stop her from trying, though. Isn’t she the cutest thing since kitties in baskets?

I flipped it around into a rocker for Abbie. She played on it like that for a few minutes. While it was amusing to Her Royal Cuteness, I could tell that she would rather be climbing.

Fortunately,  changing the Activity Garden Adventure Center from rocker to climber doesn’t take much effort. Abbie had a great time playing on it all weekend long. My only suggestion: make it fold down somehow for travel. Although, if you convert it to the rocker, it’s a bit more compact. The Activity Garden Adventure Center is an excellent way to encourage balance, gross motor skills and coordination. It retails for $29.99, although you can get it on Amazon (affiliate link) for $22.48. The Little Tikes Activity Garden Adventure Center is perfect for kids ages 9 months to 3 years.
