9 Gorgeous Instagram Accounts That Will Make Book Lovers So Happy
BooksInTheWild has some of the most gorgeous photos I’ve ever seen. Sometimes she tells you about the books themselves, other times she includes magical quotes or a note along with her stunning images. She brings new life to “have book, will travel” as she posts her books with stunning views!
Though I am firmly on the A side of YA, there are many books in the young adult category I enjoy. I might be a bit of a dystopian fiction addict at times. If you are a fan too, then @epicreads should be in your Insta feed because they always seem to have the next great read I should get my hands on!
Estelle: "The book is about women in history who did something fierce for their country but aren't talked about because they were 'politically incorrect' in their actions. They're real heroines and legends illustrated in the style we know from animated movies. The dedication of the book is to the author's mother. That's pretty awesome and makes you want to turn the pages. I'm a very 'incorrect' woman. That's probably why my husband gave me the book. I absolutely take that as a compliment." @debbiebeignet reading Rejected Princesses by Jason Porath. #subwaybookreview 🗽
@subwaybookreview is kind of like striking up a conversation with the person next to you about what they are reading. The best part is there is now awkward interactions, and you won’t find out the book is actually “The History of Slugs and Snails,” well unless it really is a good book about slugs and snails I suppose. Anyways this page is real people, real reviews but conversational and quite fun!
I am so in love with my @litjoycrate box from last month! I'm hoping to start Scythe soon, but in the meantime… I'll just keep sporting my awesome ring that was included in the box! . @litjoycrate's January box is now sold out, but you can pre-order for the February box! Don't forget to use my code Bookworm15 for 15% off at checkout! Happy Friday worms!
Need another good reason to curl up in a cozy chair? @the.blonde.bookworm always makes me want to do exactly that. Her picks are a mix of new and classic titles, and the photo shots are always fun. She’s introduced me to a few titles I would have otherwise missed!
She wanted to die, but she also wanted to live in Paris. Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary * * What better occupation, really, than to spend the evening at the fireside with a book, with the wind beating on the windows and the lamp burning bright…Haven't you ever happened to come across in a book some vague notion that you've had, some obscure idea that returns from afar and that seems to express completely your most subtle feelings? Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary * * what we call our despair is often only the painful eagerness of unfed hope. George Eliot, Middlemarch * * Sharing some of the lovely Penguin Clothbounds in my collection. Not feeling great today so I'll let the quotes speak for me instead. Enjoy your day.
The very first thing you notice about @booksugar is the color! This account has some images that are going to make ANY book lover feel happy. I can almost feel the book jumping into my hand, not that I mind because then their are more reads for me! Can I just dive into her shelves? She makes “judging a book by its cover” so easy, they all look amazing!
@sobookinggood not only inspires me with all of the literary choices, she always seems to have some kind of book challenge running. While I could read all day, having a plan certainly gets me excited about the next read too! This account always has me scribbling down another title to add to my reading list.

@ednhammond may be run by an 18-year-old and does she ever know how to make fun photos. I love her use of color and the cute Pop Funko characters that make an appearance in most of her shots. I’m always looking for her next “shelfie.”
You know that feeling when it's the day before your birthday and you have that uneasy combination of anticipation and dread. Where you're like, bummed cause you're getting older, but you also get cake so it's okay? That's how I feel. So here's a stack of black books to describe my black birthday sentiments. Or blackish I suppose, cause really… I get to eat lots of cake.
Pensive with a touch of darkness, @clumsy.words is a show stopper with her beautiful images and thoughtful captions. The quotes picked always really speak to me!
