Baths are one of my favorite ways to relax. I could never survive in a house without a tub, especially during the winter season. Between working a seasonal retail job that has me on my feet all day, dealing with head colds, and freezing my butt off shoveling snow, I need those baths to make it through the season! I keep a huge supply of random bath accoutrements, such as bath salts, oils, bombs, and anything else that fizzes, bubbles, or otherwise makes my bath water a little more exciting.
I recently had a chance to try 100% Natural Muscle Soak Bath Salt by San Francisco Salt Company through Tomoson, and I was fairly impressed. The course Epsom salts are infused with peppermint and eucalyptus oils, all of which are known for their abilities to help alleviate aches and pains. The peppermint scent is definitely the strongest, so it doesn’t smell medicinal the way some eucalyptus products do, but it’s not so strong that it will overwhelm you. The salts are a delight to tired, achy muscles. They’re also really good for clearing up a stuffy head, something that I’ve been dealing with a lot lately between allergies and colds. I actually keep a jar of peppermint near my desk and inhale it every so often just to clear my mind and banish nagging stress headaches.
The nice thing about San Francisco Salt Company’s bath salts is that they only contain a few ingredients, and I actually know what all of them are. No long lists of sulfates this or artificial that, just salts and essential oils. The salts will last up to a year as long as you keep the bag or container sealed, although I finished mine off in a few days. I tend to use more than I need, though, so they’ll probably last a little longer for others.
You can purchase the 100% Natural Muscle Soak Bath Salts through San Francisco Salt Company’s website for $4.99 for a 5oz bag. They also have a wide variety of other types of bath salts. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
