I have been using the Omega-3 Pet Softgels with my three dogs, and although I can’t see the internal benefits because I’m not a vet, I can tell you that it really helps keep their coats looking healthier and shinier. While you can give the capsules to them straight or wrapped in some sort of yummy goody, some dogs are harder to trick into taking supplements than others. My dog Cooper will eat anything in site without a second though, and the Omega-3 Pet capsules are no exception, but overall I find it easier to prick the capsules with a pin and squeeze the liquid onto their food. They seem to really like this and it helps make their dry food a little more enticing. As with any supplements, talk to your veterinarian if you furry companion has a preexisting medical condition or is taking any other medications.
