I was really excited to have the chance to try CosMedix Skin Care products, because I’m always looking for something new to help keep my skin looking great. I’m getting older, and recently started to notice some of the signs of aging. I’m lucky for the most part, because I have really good genes, so those signs aren’t too noticeable to anyone else. But I know where to look, and I can see them. Little worry lines in my forehead, darker circles under my eyes (unfortunately, my ancestors apparently made some sort of bargain that gave us pretty good skin, but in exchange, we agreed to suffer with dark circles from an early age), areas where my skin tone doesn’t quite match the rest of my face…you know, all those little things that change as we get older.
CosMedix sent me two different lines to try out: their Liquid Crystals Holiday Bundle, and their Clear Kit. The Liquid Crystals is by far the prettiest skin care product I’ve ever seen. When you pump it out onto your fingers, it looks like a luminescent magical potion. The Opti Crystal, which is used around your eyes and lips, is bright blue, like an abalone shell. When you pat it into your skin, it’s just clear, but for those few seconds before I put it on, the color actually makes me smile. How many skin care products can do that? The Emulsion liquid moisturizes your entire face and is a lovely shade of lavender until you blend it in. Both products work great. The Opti Crystal is really thick, so I recommend using just a tiny dot of it for each eye. Even though the container is small, this stuff will last you a really long time since you need to use so little of it.
The Clear Kit contains three products designed to cleanse and clarify your skin. Purity Clean removes all the gunk that builds up over the day, Clarity calms your skin, and Refine uses Vitamin A to help balance your complexion. Again, you’ll only need a small amount of each product to get the job done.
