I like to get Jacob some type of personalized ornament that reflects his personality and current interests every year, so it was really great to be contacted by Ornaments With Love to do a review. This year, I went with the space seem, since Jacob is really into the whole idea of being an outer space animal surgeon (shh, don’t tell him there is no such thing, there may be by the time he grows up!). He’s also really into space in general, and informed me the other night that people came from aliens (we’re not religious, so I’ve been letting him form his own hypotheses about how we got here).
Ornaments with love makes a variety of really cute Christmas ornaments that can be personalized with names and dates. Our spaceship with Earth ornament arrived really quickly and very well packaged. The colors are a lot more vivid than they appear in the picture. I love the little moon orbiting the Earth too. The ornament is sturdy, but not so heavy that it will weigh down your branches if you have a real tree. On the occasions that we do go with a real one, that’s always a major issue with most of my ornaments. I prefer my fake tree because I can bend the branches to hold onto the ornaments better.
Ornaments With Love has a great selection from which to choose, including something for just about everyone on your list. Grandparents, kids, tweens, teens, military members, and so on are all covered. They also have tons of categories, ranging from hobbies to pro teams. They even have a bunch of cute picture frame ornaments. If you want to personalize something with the whole family listed on it, I suggest going with one of their tabletop decorations. They have a really cute tree that fit up to eight names, with a little banner across is that you can add your family name to. The Personalized Snow Couple can hold up to 15 names. Those of you looking for great teacher’s gifts may want to check out the “World’s Best Teacher” ornament, which also has a tabletop stand so it can be placed on a desk.
The ornaments generally range in price from $7.95 for the smaller ones to $19.95 for the larger tabletop decorations, with a few going lower or higher. Ornaments With Love offers free shipping on orders over $50 to US addresses, otherwise shipping is a flat rate of $6.95.
We have a tradition of ornament giving in our home too. The idea is to give each member an ornament that reflects something meaningful that took place that year, i.e. graduating, driving, etc. We each get one including my husband and I, so when the kids move out and they take their ornaments with them for their trees, ours won’t be left empyt! I will definitely check out this site! New follower!
Thank you for following! I love your idea about collecting ornaments over the years, so when the kids are ready to move out they’ll have a nice collection to start their own tree!
