The whole announcing your location and signing in from various places trend kind of freaks me out. I mean, it’s basically like saying”hey, stalker, you can find me at Joe’s Pizza Place on Park Avenue right now!” or “Dear Robber, I am not home right now, feel free to break in.” It’s just one of those things that never seemed like a good idea to me, and I’m not even remotely a privacy fanatic. I’ll tell you all quite a bit about me, but I draw the line at giving everyone online my exact location every moment of the day. The creators of this infographic apparently agree with me!
