For some reason, Sucrets reminds me of my childhood. It has the same soothing effect as Sucrets Classic, but with an added burst of menthol to clear up your nasal passages and help you breathe easier. The menthol also acts as a cough suppressant. I prefer these over regular cough medicine, especially during the day, because just about every other medicine either makes me loopy or drowsy (even the non-drowsy stuff).
Cold season is already well underway in my area, with some really nasty strain going around that hangs on for weeks. My samples of Sucrets came just in time (I have been so lucky lately, everything I review seems to come exactly when I need it), because I was in the middle of that nasty cold. I cannot function with a stuffy head. I write for a living, so I need to be able to think clearly, and that’s a little hard when your sinuses are pulsating through your head. The Sucrets Complete did a great job of clearing out my sinuses and allowing me to start thinking in complete sentences again, and best of all, I wasn’t loopy or drowsy!
