I have been wanting a Couponizer ever since I first saw them last year on another blog. I entered every single giveaway I could find for them, but alas, I did not win. It’s all good though, because now I get to review their awesome New Year Couponizer Savings Pack! Part of my goals for 2012 (NOT resolutions!) is to learn how to be a better coupon user. I’m not striving to make it on any specific TV shows or anything, but I would like to learn how to do more than clip coupons and completely forget that I have them until they expire. I figure if I have some sort of decent system, the chances of me sticking with the whole thing are a lot better.
The Couponizer Savings Pack comes with pretty much everything you need to get started. The book is awesome, it has categories I didn’t even think of. Like, I always just threw anything that I considered a canned or dry food into one section of my little coupon holder; but the Couponizer book breaks it down a lot further. There’s a page for bread, one for canned goods, one for easy meals (like boxed dinners, which to be honest, is half of my meals), and one for baking goods. All of those would have gone into into section in my old little carrier. Now, I’ll actually be more likely to remember that I have a coupon for, say, dinner rolls, because I don’t have to do so much digging to get to it.
The pack also comes with a cute little mini-tote so you can carry your Couponizer along with your pen, scissors, and shopping list (all included in the savings pack). My main concern was that the book would be too big to fit in my purse. If I don’t carry a massive handbag, mine is pretty much average size. I was really surprised at how well it fit, even with my wallet and other random stuff floating around in the main compartment of my purse.
The savings pack also came with an instructional mouse pad, booklet, shopping list pad, and more. You can’t see everything in the picture, some of the stuff was in the book itself. I am really happy with the savings pack and think that it will help me meet my goal to use more coupons in 2012.
