Dora is heading back to Mermaid Kingdom to help little Maribel find her mommy in Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom. Remember years ago when Dora helped the mermaids defeat the guy who was dumping trash into the ocean and polluting their home? At the end, she got to keep the special necklace that helped her transform into a mermaid. Now, she has to use it again to help save the little lost Maribel. Of course, the journey is never easy for Dora, accompanied by Boots as a sea monkey. She’ll need to rely on her wits, her talking backpack, and her good friend The Map to navigate through octopus gardens and past ocean rocks until she reaches her final destination. There, Maribel will have to sing her heart out to call all the other mermaids and finally find her mommy.
Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom also features two other great episodes. In Benny the Castaway, Dora and Boots are getting ready to have a beach picnic with all of their friends when suddenly a bottle rolls in with a wave. Inside the bottle, Dora and Boots find a note from Benny the Bull. His balloon ran out of air on the way to the picnic and he’s stuck on Coconut Island. Dora and Boots have to head off on another rescue mission.
In Dora’s Moonlight Adventure Dora is looking after her grandmother’s three kittens: Pico, Mónica and Lucky. At Dora’s house, her Mommy reads to Dora and the kittens as they snuggle up around their ball of string and fall asleep. When the ball of string rolls out the window and Lucky chases after it, the kitties wake Dora up so she can help find Lucky.
