One of my favorite guest posts, as well as one of my favorite interviews ever done on Pretty Opinionated came from the Good Dogma Company, a sponsor in my Loving Your Pet giveaway. I first connected with Lisa of Good Dogma back when her dog, Bo, did a guest post for me. It was my first ever guest post written by a dog. A few months after that, I did an interview with Lisa about the mission behind the Good Dogma company.
If you didn’t have a chance to read the full interview, the Good Dogma Company is founded on the belief that dog lovers have a different kind of good karma: Good Dogma! Based on that theory, the Good Dogma Company spreads the karma around, encouraging others to “paw it forward” to help pets in need. The company began with the Home Seller Kit, which contains a statue of a dog that you can bury in your yard to help bring good selling dogma. Lisa quickly added other merchandise, including gorgeous jewelry and delicious baked treats. Recently, Good Dogma added two coffee cups to their offerings.
Lisa was kind enough to send me the WTW? (or What the Woof?) lime green coffee cup, and it’s become one of my favorite for my morning, afternoon, and evening cups of coffee. Yes, I drink a lot of coffee, I think we’ve well established that here! I love my WTW? cup not only because it’s so cute, sturdy, and holds a large cup of coffee from my Keurig, but because of the fact that it was a gift from one of my favorite guests on Pretty Opinionated.
A portion of the Good Dogma Company sales goes towards helping one of the many organizations that Lisa and her rescue dogs work with. Kensy, the rescue dog that inspired the Good Dogma Company, is a therapy dog who brings joy to those who could use a little cheering up. Lisa, her husband, and their canine family also support numerous different rescue groups.
Loving Your Pet Giveaway Prize Contribution
The Good Dogma Company recently introduced a new coffee mug to their line that is perfect for the dog days of summer (aren’t I punny?): the super-cute Got Beach? mug. Be sure to come back on July 1st to enter to win this and other great pet-related prizes. In the mean time, I highly suggest checking out The Good Dogma Company on Facebook to keep up with their Woofisms and other news. They are also on Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.
