which releases on DVD on July 31st, 2012, will have your Dora fans flipping with excitement, pun totally intended (puns are fun!). Dora, Boots, Swiper, and all their favorite characters are back with a new adventure that sends Dora off on a journey to retrieve a very special ribbon before time runs out. Help them balance-beam walk over Crocodile Lake, trampoline jump through the Flowery Garden, and swing on rings to get that ribbon back.
In the titular episode, Dora’s Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure, Dora is thrilled to receive a beautiful rainbow ribbon because it means she gets to start the Big Gymnastics Show with her special ribbon dance. Of course, Swiper decides he just has to have that ribbon, and unfortunately no amount of “Swiper, no swiping!” can stop him. Yup, you’re too late!
If Dora wants to get to Swiper and retrieve her ribbon in time to start the show, she’s going to need your help, along with that of Boots, Backpack, and the Map. In addition to the usual lessons about team work, the Spanish language, and what not, this episode helps drive home the importance of exercise. Dora couldn’t make it through all those challenges without being in good shape!
Other episodes include:
A Ribbon for Pinto– Pinto is totally stoked about the Big Horse Show and really wants to win his very first blue prize ribbon. Dora, Boots, and Pinto are taking a train to the show, but of course the train encounters some technical difficulties (it breaks down), and now they don’t know how they’re going to make it. Time to break out the Map!
Swiper’s Favorite Things– Swiper is heading to his Grandma’s house and he needs all his favorite things: his pajama trunk, his favorite puppy book, and his very special funny bunny. Just as he is about to leave, a big wind gust comes in and blows everything away! Dora and Swiper journey to Crocodile Lake, through the Jumbled Trees, and race to Strawberry Hill to get Swiper’s favorite things back.
