*Abigail “Abby” Tate:* Since she caught her boyfriend cheating with her best friend, Abby has become a bit of a loner, and just when she thinks that’s the worst of it, she is abducted by a drop-dead gorgeous vamp who ultimately turns her into one of his kind. But there’s something different about her, she can feel it right down to her bones. Once she meets a mysterious human—who helps her escape captivity—she sets out to learn the reasons she’s different while fighting to stay hidden from those who hunt her. *Bronx Granger:* The tall, dark, and handsome vamp that woos Abby with his charm—and vampire persuasion—then kills her only to bring her back as one of his kind. There’s something about her that he loves, and only now that she’s *his* vampire soul mate will he ever be able to explore it.
*Lily Madison:* Abby’s blood donor—a human that allows a vampire to feed from them since vamp bites are as potent as Ecstasy—who quickly becomes her best friend. They meet by chance when Bronx has donors come to the house
where he’s holding Abby captive so his new vamp can feed. Though Abby is plotting her escape, she’s afraid to share any of that with Lily for fear of Bronx rolling her friend’s mind and finding out.
*Tyler Jensen:* An innocent—never been bitten by a vamp—human with the most brilliant green eyes who aids Abby in escaping Bronx, then helps her learn who and what she really is while revealing his love for her along the way.
He shows Abby his gift of seeing visions of the past or future that he calls premonitions and assures her that through his ability he can keep her safe. Skeptical, but with no other options, Abby is forced to trust Tyler while fighting a growing attraction to him.
*Stone Rayver:* When Abby meets Stone—a vampire club owner—she’s blown away by his masculine beauty. He’s tall with a tightness only hard muscles can give, sleek dark hair, and eyes the color of the deepest azure sky. He offers to help her, telling Abby things she never learned about the vampire world. But she can sense he’s keeping things from her, and with her life on the line, she wonders if he can really be trusted after all.
