The cutest bunch of Chihuahuas ever to hit the entertainment industry are back, ant this time they brought along all their puppies for the ride! In Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta, Papi, Chloe, and their five little ones move into the super-posh Langham Hotel along with their humans. When Rachael and Sam (the human characters), who are now married, decide it’s time for a change, they apply for positions at the hotel. Rachael strives for the role of sous chef, while Sam aims to become their newest landscaper. Alas, the interview doesn’t exactly go according to plan at first. Fortunately, the interviewer spots Chloe and decides he absolutely must have her as part of their new ad campaign.

Sam and Rachael agree to allow the hotel to use Chloe to entice dog owners to their new Doggy Spa in exchange for allowing them to work and live there. The interviewer agrees, and the family moves in. If things went smoothly after that, there would be no movie, so you know there’s going to be some trouble in paradise!

Little Rosa’s Big Dilemna

Poor little Rosa, the tiniest of the tiny chihuahua pups, starts to feel even smaller and more insignificant than ever before. She finds that school is not fun at all when you’re the “runt of the litter.” Rosa’s not the only one feeling a little left out: Papi is feeling a bit replaced by the dog school teacher and the puppy daycare provider. Papi rises to the challenge of making his little Rosa feel extra-special and all grown up by planning the fiesta of a lifetime for her.

My favorite part of the whole party planning process was when Papi was interviewing the bands. I have to agree with Papi, heavy metal really is just the same three chords over and over! the Mariachi guys are the cutest by far. Jacob pretty much loved any scene that involved the puppies, which was pretty much the whole movie. He’s very easy to please. Of course, he has his momma’s love of talking animals!

Bonus features of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3:  Viva La Fiesta! include “Hanging with Papi,” an inside look at a typical day on-set for Papi and his human and canine costars, and the English and Spanish versions of “Living Your Dreams” an all-new music video performed by Raini Rodriguez, star of Disney Channel’s popular series “Austin and Ally.”
