Bubble Guppies: On the Job Episodes
Join Team Guppies to explore bouncing, throwing, catching, and all kinds of ball games as everyone practices and prepares for their big game of Fishketball! Kids will learn the value of practice and hard work to achieve a goal.
Build Me a Building!
The Bubble Guppies want to build the best doghouse ever for Bubble Puppy, but first they have to learn a bit about construction. I mean, you can’t just slap together a few pieces of wood and have a house, now can you? No, you can’t. I’ve tried. It didn’t work out well at all. Join the Guppies as they explore the world of construction and give Bubble Puppy the coolest digs in town!
The Grumpfish Special!
Anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant industry knows that there are just some people you can’t please. Mr. Grumpfish is one of those people…er, fish. The Bubble Guppies are learning how to run a successful restaurant by waiting tables, cooking food, and serving customers. Can they do anything to turn Mr. Grumpfish’s perpetual frown upside down? If anyone can pull it off, it’s the Guppies!
Call a Clambulance!
Broken bones are no fun, especially when it’s a tailbone! When Oona’s friend Avi breaks a bone in his tail, he needs to visit the doctor. Mr. Grouper helps the Guppies learn that it’s a doctor’s job to make everyone feel better.
Firefighter Gil to the Rescue!
How to you fight a fire-breathing dragon? With a water-breathing dragon, of course! Firefighter Gil will need to use his own water-breathing dragon to deal with a fire-breathing variety that seems out to take down all of the Bubble Guppies royal kingdom!
A Tooth on the Looth!
Deema has a loose tooth, and when it falls out, she’ll get a visit from the Tooth Fairy! Until then, the Bubble Guppies have lots to discover about dentists and healthy smiles.
Jake adores the Bubble Guppies, so he really enjoyed this DVD. He liked the Firefighter episode the best. I liked the dentist and doctor episodes because I think they really help calm kids’ fears about these two medical professionals. Also, since I’ve worked in the food industry and in retail for years, I can relate to the Grumpfish episode. I’ve dealt with a few of those in my time! With fun characters, great lessons, and cute songs, you really can’t go wrong with the Bubble Guppies.
My daughter loves Bubble Guppies as well and I’ve been known to sit down and watch an episode or two with her. This sounds like a DVD we need to add to our collection.
My daughter loves the Bubble Guppies!
I agree episodes about things like going to the doctor and dentist are great for dealing with fear..dentist is especially scary to me.
Me too, Laura! I need to watch that episode a few more times. Maybe then I can go to the dentist without requiring Xanax just to make the appointment!
