I received an Oral-B Deep Sweep TRIACTION 1000 toothbrush to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am doing the WOW experiment by using the Oral-B Deep Sweep TRIACTION 1000 power toothbrush in place of my old toothbrush. Considering my old toothbrush was a manual brush, I had high expectations for this experiment! I’m happy to say that those expectations were met and exceeded!
Get WOW Clean with Oral-B Deep Sweep!
My first thought when I used the Oral-B Deep Sweep for the first time was “Wow, this really is a WOW experience!” The swishing action of the bristles really gets in between your teeth to help your mouth feel squeaky clean and refreshed!
My favorite feature of the Oral-B Deep Sweep is the signal that it’s time to change locations in your mouth. I have no sense of time. I know you’re supposed to brush your teeth for two minutes twice a day, but when I’m in the bathroom with no clock, I have no idea how long two minutes is. I tend to misjudge time completely and probably only brush for one minute.
The Oral-B Deep Sweep power brush tells me when it’s time to switch spots but briefly pausing the swishing action. At first, I thought the toothbrush was losing its charge! That’s what I get for not reading the directions. Basically, you break your mouth down into four quadrants. Brush for 30 seconds in each quadrant. When the toothbrush pulses the signal, switch. That way, you know you’re brushing for the recommended time.
The brush head has what Oral-B calls advanced Triple Zone cleaning technology. Basically, this means that it has three different types of bristles. The moving power tip gets those hard-to-reach places, the stationary bristles do the surface cleaning while the longer sweeping bristles sweep in between your teeth. Together, they create an amazingly clean feeling in your whole mouth!
Other features of the Oral-B Deep Sweep include:
- Long battery life. The toothbrush typically lasts 7 days on one charge if you use it as recommended.
- Charging station. I can’t say much about this because I didn’t get one. Next week I’ll tell you the lengths I’d go to get it! It’s part of the experiment. The charging station also acts as a toothbrush holder though, from what I read!
- Waterproof no-slip handle. I love the handle on the Oral-B Deep Sweep. First, it’s such a pretty shade of blue-green. Second, it’s made of waterproof rubber, so it’s easy to hold!
- Stops pulsing when you brush too hard!
I would definitely recommend this toothbrush to anyone who wants to make oral care easier and more efficient!

Stops pulsing when you’re brushing too hard? Neat idea- never thought that would be a problem!
Sounds great! Thanks for the review 🙂 Will certainly keep a look out for this.
Oh, I always tend to brush too hard. Every dentist I’ve ever been to has yelled at me for it, so that would be a very useful feature for me!
