Pretty Opinionated is now accepting submissions for our Holiday Gift Guide!
Can you believe it’s already time to start thinking about Holiday shopping? I’ve actually already started working on my 2013 Holiday Gift Guide with a few early-bird submissions! Now is the time to get your product to me for inclusion. Reviews will start going live this month!
Why so early? First, Hanukkah starts pretty early this year, so I want to make sure reviews are up in time for that! Second, more people are starting this shopping well before Thanksgiving to help save money throughout the season. Third, the holiday season is incredibly busy for me and I’m trying to actually get ahead of things this year!
HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE CATEGORIES
I am accepting submissions for the following categories:
- Gifts for Grade-School-Age Kids: Including toys, video games, books and clothing for children ages 5-14.
- Gifts for Her: Including clothing, accessories, pampering items, gourmet goodies and other appropriate gifts for women.
- Gifts for Him: Same as for her, except, you know, for guys!
- Gifts for Pets: I have three dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs and a parrot. They love holiday gifts just as much as we do! Gifts may include toys, treats, comfy bedding and other items that pets would love.
- Stocking Stuffers: Fun goodies to fill stockings for men, women, children and even our furry (or feathered) friends!
What I require from you:
- A full-size non-returnable product to try out for my review.
- If you want me to host a giveaway, a second full-size product must be sent to the winner by you. If offering a gift certificate, you must include free shipping. My winners (nor I) cannot be responsible for paying any money to receive their prize.
- Product minimum of $25. I am flexible on this for movies, video games and the pet category. You may include a variety of items to meet the minimum for the stocking stuffer category. All items will be combined into one post.
What you get from me:
- A full-length post about your product cross-posted into the appropriate category on my site and into the Holiday Gift Guide category.
- Social media mentions, including at least three tweets, one Facebook status update, one pin on Pinterest and a Google+ post.
