Connect with Your Kids Through Vtech InnoTab 3S Kid Connect

I received a premium Kid Connect upgrade for the VTech InnoTab 3S to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own

Remember a couple of weeks ago, I told you about all the awesome new features of VTech InnoTab 3S? One of my absolute favorites was the Kid Connect app. I was just using the free version that came with the InnoTab, but even that was impressive. To help me explore the features in more detail, VTech upgraded me to a Premium subscription of the Kid Connect app. Obviously, it’s even cooler than the free version!

Here’s what you’ll find if you upgrade to the premium Kid Connect:

  • Super cool new “gifts” to send back and forth to your child! The basic free app comes with some fun stickers, but the premium upgrade opens up pages of fun goodies. From hearts to balloons and more, these gifts often come with a fun little sound effects.
  • Voice messages! Your child can record a voice message and set it to your phone (or tablet). This is great for moms who are away from their kids during the day. It’s a fun way for your child to send a quick “hello!” Even cooler? They can use their regular voice or change it to sound like a robot or a mouse!
  • Photo messages! Kids can snap a picture of themselves and send it to you from their VTech InnoTab 3S! They can also send drawings and other images saved on their InnoTab.

Jake and I have a great time sending each other messages back and forth. I use my Android tablet, but you can also use Android-based phones and iPhones or iPads.

Here’s the great news! When you first register your new InnoTab 3S, you can snag a Deluxe apps package with Premium Kid Connect and the Movie Maker app for just $14.99. It’s like getting the Movie Maker- a $7.99 value- free! After the 14-days, you’ll have to pay full price for both apps, so I suggest upgrading right away. Don’t forget, VTech InnoTab 3S has tons of other really great features, including loads of apps loaded onto the device. Plus, it comes with a rechargeable battery pack! I cannot tell you how much I love that. Did I mention that a single charge lasts a really long time?

    I would love to win this for my 2 1/2 year old son who is so advanced in everything that I just can’t keep up with him. However, he has trouble manipulating a mouse or mouse pad for the computer, so he doesn’t really have the opportunity to expand into technology, yet. A touch screen tablet would be perfect for him!

    I bet my 10 year old daughter will want to play with it, too!
