From the gorgeous bottle to the sensual base notes, every aspect of this perfume screams romance. Created by an expert team of perfumers and designers- including celebrity master perfumer Sarah Horowitz- the scent is unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced.The fragrance was unveiled at the Sniffapalooza Fall Ball, an event founded by co-designer Karen Dublin to bring together fragrance enthusiasts.

Midnight Promise is an exotic blend inspired by the Moroccan Gardens. The moment you inhale the aroma, you’re transported to a faraway land of romance and intrigue. The top notes feature Red Mandarin with just a hint of spicy cinnamon. The heart note comes from the Red Moroccan Rose. The base notes are all about romance, with sensual amber, vanilla accord,  sandalwood, oak moss, patchouli and fresh vetiver.

Every good perfume should inspire a beautiful love story. If you head to the Bellegance Midnight Promise site, you can read the story of this perfume. I’m not sure if it’s a true story, but it sure is touching! Basically, Jack and Sofia were madly in love, but Jack was pulled away on business just before their 10th anniversary. Sofia promised she’d find a way to celebrate with him, even if he was on the other side of the world. As Jack was strolling the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence, Italy, he was gazing wistfully at all the names of lovers throughout the years. Suddenly, he caught the aroma of Sofia’s perfume. Sarah Horowitz is the owner of a successful fragrance company,  Sarah Horowitz Parfums, and the Co-Founder of Original Scent, a custom fragrance retail experience in Pasadena, California.  Karen Dubin is a fragrance expert and Founder and Director of Sniffapalooza, an event-based group of fragrance aficionados that originated in New York City and now unites perfume enthusiasts from around the world.

Ping Li, a designer well known for high-end clients including Estée Lauder, and L’Oréal, designed the stunning bottle for Midnight Promise. Carmen Schaye, the president of the company, had the visionary genius to pull together the brilliant team. After the 2009 recession, she saw so many highly educated women looking for a new place to spread their creative wings. She filled that need by hiring brilliant women and helping them share their gifts with the world.
