I received complimentary NATU Hair Care products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

NATU Hair Care Products

I’ve been coloring my hair since I was 15. Back then, it was fun colors like burgundy, black and once by accident, strawberry shortcake red. As the years passed, dying my hair became more about hiding the grey than playing with color (I often wonder if years of abusing my hair caused me to get grey hair earlier!). Regardless of the reason, my hair is never not dyed anymore. In fact, I’m not sure I remember what my natural color is these days! It’s dark. That’s all I know.

With all the abuse my hair takes, I try to get good shampoo. As you may know, I’m kind of addicted to beauty products. I love trying new things, and especially love when I discover something that I have no idea how I got by without before! NATU Professional Colorist Shampoo and Conditioner are two such products. The duo is designed to cleanse your hair naturally while leaving your color as beautiful as when you first applied it.

NATU Natural Hair Care Products

I think the most important thing about NATU isn’t the ingredients themselves, but the stuff that ISN’T in their products. The NATU Professional Colorist Shampoo and Conditioner are both free of sulfates that can strip and wreck your hair. They also contain no silicon, resins, parabens, synthetic junk or other horrible ingredients that I can’t pronounce, let alone spell. Basically, it’s like organic health food for your hair.

One thing I really LOVE about both the NATU Professional Colorist Shampoo and Condition is how light they are in my hair! While I expected that out of the shampoo, I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used the conditioner. It’s not at all thick and goopy. In fact, the consistency is just a bit thicker than the shampoo. Why does this matter so much to me? I have a lot of hair! My grandfather used to joke that I could donate to ten bald guys and still have plenty left over (he was a balding man with a comb-over himself). Thick conditioners are hard to rinse out completely, so I always end up with this weird residue in my hair that makes it feel greasy.

Tame your crazy thick, coarse hair!

I also tried out NATU Silkening Mist, a leave-in hair care product that is specifically designed to tame coarse, thick hair. See, there are like a million and one products out there for people who want to make their thin hair look thicker. Yet I’ve really never seen anything that was made to make your hair look less thick and coarse. Until now. NATU Silkening Mist is my DREAM product! With just a few spritzes and a good brush-through, my hair goes from crazy to tame in just minutes. Best of all, it doesn’t feel heavy and gunky.
