I feel like I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of sneakers my whole life. I’ve found a few that came close at first, but when I put them to the test (namely, a rock-hard mall floor during the Christmas and Easter season), they fall a bit short. The last two weeks, I’ve been back to working in the mall at my seasonal job, which means long hours on my feet. I’ve actually come home crying because my feet hurt so bad!
Then there are the sneakers that are super comfortable but oh so incredibly boring. I like fun sneakers. While basic black and white is great for when you need to go plain (like for work), I prefer something a little more exciting for every-day use. I mean, I was stuck with basic white when I went to nursing school, so they kind of remind me of long days doing clinicals in a hospital.
