Efferdent Fresh Guard 2

Most people think of Efferdent as being useful only for cleaning dentures. While it definitely does a great job there, Efferdent Fresh Guard is also perfect for retainers, mouthguards and more. In fact, Fresh Guard is specifically designed to work on those types of removable dental products!

How does Fresh Guard by Efferdent Work?

I asked my friend to test out the Fresh Guard by Efferdent on her son’s retainer to get an idea of how well it works. The process of using Fresh Guard is really simple. You just fill a clean container with enough water to submerge the dental gear and empty a packet of the soak into the water. Drop (gently, I assume) the gear into the solution and let it sit. The cool thing about the soak is that it starts out blue. As it cleans, it turns clear. You know it’s done when the water is all clear. It takes less than 10 minutes. Then just rinse and go! The Fresh Guard Soak kills 99.9% of germs and also reduces that icky feeling you get from a buildup of mouth film.

What about when you’re on the go and you want to clean your removable braces or mouthguard? Well, that’s where the Fresh Guard Wipes come in handy! Keep them in your purse, gym bag or locker. When your mouth has that not-so-fresh feeling after a meal, take out your device and wipe it down with the Fresh Guard Wipes. No need to rinse! Just put it back in your mouth and enjoy the minty-fresh taste! They’re easy enough for teenagers to use on all their removable dental devices, but powerful enough for cleaning dentures between meals.

My friend said that both products work fantastic and left her son’s retainer looking and feeling cleaner. She loved the little container and carrying bag that I gave her (since she was doing the testing, I gave her all the goodies, including the mirror). She would definitely recommend Fresh Guard by Efferdent to anyone with removable dental gear or dentures.
