Shaving is one of my least favorite grooming tasks. It ranks up there with dying my hair (always a pain since I have so much of it) and…well, I can’t think of any others that I don’t really enjoy. If I didn’t have a boyfriend, I probably wouldn’t even bother shaving half as often as I do. How sad is that? Of course, with summer coming, even if I wasn’t involved, I wouldn’t want to walk around looking like Bigfoot!
As you know, my surgery is tomorrow. After that, it’s probably going to be at least a week (if not more) before I feel up to standing in the shower shaving my legs. For the next four to six weeks of recovery, I really don’t plan on shaving as often as I usually do. When the chance to try out Whish Body came up, I had a choice between two different extra products in addition to the Shave Crave Shaving Cream. I could either have the Shave Savour Hair Inhibiting Gel or Flawless Ingrown Hair Serum. It was a no-brainer for me! I went with the Shave Savour! I figure if I can inhibit hair growth, I’ll spend less time shaving!
Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream: The best shaving experience ever
For Sal’s birthday last Friday, we decided to spend the night out at a hotel. It was pretty much our last chance for a night out before my surgery. It was also our last hurrah as far as “quality alone time” goes, if you know what I mean. I’ll be banned from that sort of alone time for a good six weeks after my hysterectomy. Obviously, I wanted to go the extra mile to make it really memorable. That of course included shaving my legs.
My Whish Shave Crave came at the perfect time to give me a chance to try it out and see what Sal thought of its effects. The first thing I noticed about Shave Crave was that it doesn’t come out in a foam. I love this because when I use foamy stuff, I tend to lose half the foam before it ever reaches my legs. I’m not the most coordinated shaver!
The beautiful aroma of the Pomegranate scent filled my bathroom, making me fall in love with Shave Crave right away. I love how it moisturized my legs as I shaved, making it the best shaving experience ever. To me, though, the actual shaving process is only half the battle. The whole point of shaving is to have nice, smooth legs, right? Well, I don’t want to get out of the shower and deal with bumpies! I’m happy to say that Shave Crave left no irritation or bumpy skin.
